Browsers may view opening multiple tabs at once as invoking pop-ups and so block the action. These steps work to configure your browser to open multiple tabs on a Windows computer as of August 2026. They may not work forever. On other devices, the details may vary and it may not be possible to overcome the blocks. If you have suggested updates, send them using the book-marx Feedback.

New accounts start with a set of default categories and links. After logging in, you can change any of them — rename, delete, or add new ones to suit your needs.
Your bookmarks are organized into categories. Use the Modify button on the header to open the Edit Links dialog to add, rename, or delete links within a category. From there, you can access Edit Categories to add, rename, or delete categories.
To add a link, copy the URL from your browser's address bar (Ctrl+C or ⌘C), then click Modify, choose a category, click Add Link, name the link and paste the URL (Ctrl+V or ⌘V) into the URL field.
Select a Link to edit, then change its Category in the dropdown list.
The special category $PageTop appears at the top of your page as a horizontal row of quick-access links. Add your most frequently used links here.
You can define special "Multi-Tab" links that do exactly that - they open several tabs at once. You can use this if, for example, you always keep certain tabs open in your browser - maybe Google Drive, Email and a Calendar. This will let you click one link to get your browser started. Also, you might have a set of Google Docs that you frequently work on together for a project. You can set up Multi-tab links from the Modify page.
Global Settings apply to your account on all devices unless overridden by Local Settings. Local Settings apply only to a specific browser on a specific device. You can use local settings to display the browser name.
Scans all your links for broken URLs and emails you a report. Links that require a login (or for other reasons) may be flagged as broken even if they work — use Verify as Valid (in the email message) on those to remove them from future broken link lists. You can also click Delete to remove a broken link directly — it can still be recovered afterward from Show Deleted Links.
Links that you delete are kept in the database. Use Show Deleted Links to restore a link or permanently remove it.
Export Links downloads all your categories and links as a JSON file — useful as a backup or to copy your bookmarks to another account. Import Links reads a previously exported file and adds the links to your account.

Before a fix, deleting a category permanently destroyed its links with no trash. This finds anything missing from an account, compared to the Default Template as of that account's creation date, for accounts created on or after the date below. Preview first — nothing is written until you click Apply.
